CalenSnap Fulfillment Policy
CalenSnap Fulfillment Policy
Last Updated: December 11, 2025
This Fulfillment Policy describes how CalenSnap subscriptions are delivered, how cancellations and refunds work, and how your access to CalenSnap features is managed.
This Policy applies to the CalenSnap mobile application and related services (collectively, “CalenSnap” or the “Service”) made available to users located in the United States of America. By purchasing or using a CalenSnap subscription, you agree to the terms of this Fulfillment Policy. You may access the current version of this Fulfillment Policy through the Settings page of the CalenSnap app or by visiting our website at any time.
1. Overview of CalenSnap
CalenSnap is an AI-powered mobile application that allows you to convert images (such as flyers, invitations, or screenshots) into structured calendar events that you can save to your preferred digital calendar (for example, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar).
CalenSnap uses artificial intelligence and optical character recognition (“AI/OCR”) to extract information from images and help you create calendar events more quickly and easily. Because the core of the product is subscription access to this functionality, it is important that you understand how subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work.
2. Subscription and Service Delivery
2.1 App Store Subscriptions Only.
CalenSnap subscriptions are currently offered only as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store for iOS devices. All billing and payment processing are handled directly by Apple, not by CalenSnap.
2.2 Access Upon Successful Payment.
Upon successful payment processing by Apple for your chosen subscription plan:
You will receive immediate access to your CalenSnap account; and
You will be able to use all features included in your selected subscription tier, subject to any plan-specific limits (for example, monthly scan or event limits if applicable).
2.3 Delivery Method.
Access to CalenSnap is delivered digitally through the CalenSnap mobile app installed on your device. No physical goods are shipped.
2.4 Subscription Tiers.
CalenSnap may offer multiple subscription tiers (including a free tier). Each tier may differ in the number of scans, events, or other features available. The details of each tier will be displayed in the app and/or in the App Store listing at the time of purchase.
2.5 Pricing and Billing.
The price for each subscription tier is displayed in the Apple App Store at the time of purchase and may vary based on your App Store region, currency, or promotional offers. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time, including for existing subscribers where permitted by law and Apple's policies. If we change the price for your existing subscription, we will provide advance notice of the price increase before your renewal date as required by applicable law (which may be as short as permitted under such law). You will have the opportunity to cancel your subscription through your Apple account before the price increase takes effect. If you do not cancel before the renewal date, you will be deemed to have accepted the new price. By subscribing, you agree to pay the then-current price for your selected tier. All prices include applicable taxes as calculated and collected by Apple.
2.6 No Minimum Commitment.
There is no minimum subscription period or commitment. Your subscription will continue on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select) until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 4.
3. Refund Policy
Because all CalenSnap subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store, Apple is the primary point of contact for subscription refunds. However, in certain circumstances, CalenSnap may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis after Apple has declined a refund, as described below.
3.1 Refunds Through Apple (Primary Path)
3.1.1 Apple Handles Refunds.
Apple processes all payments for CalenSnap subscriptions and is responsible for issuing refunds under its own policies and procedures. CalenSnap does not have the ability to approve or deny App Store refunds directly.
3.1.2 Requesting a Refund from Within CalenSnap.
You can request a refund from Apple using the in-app flow:
Open the Settings page in the CalenSnap app (tap the settings icon at the top-right corner of the home screen).
Navigate to My Subscription → Manage Subscription → Request a refund.
Follow the prompts. You will be redirected to Apple’s refund request process.
3.1.3 Requesting a Refund Directly from Apple.
You may also request a refund directly from Apple by following the instructions on Apple’s support website (for example, by visiting Apple’s “Report a Problem” page or the relevant billing and subscription support pages).
3.1.4 Apple’s Discretion.
Apple will review your refund request and decide whether a refund will be issued, in accordance with its own policies. CalenSnap does not control Apple’s decisions and cannot guarantee that a refund will be granted.
3.2 Additional Review by CalenSnap (Case-by-Case)
If Apple does not grant your refund request or you are unable to obtain a refund from Apple, you may contact CalenSnap to request an additional review.
3.2.1 How to Request a CalenSnap Review.
If Apple denies your refund request, you may email us at contact@calensnap.com and include:
Your full name;
The Apple ID or email address associated with your App Store purchase (you may redact part of the address for security, but we must be able to verify the purchase);
The approximate date of purchase or renewal;
The CalenSnap subscription plan you purchased;
A copy of any communication from Apple regarding the denial of your refund request (if available); and
A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund from CalenSnap.
3.2.2 Timing of Requests.
To be considered, your request to CalenSnap must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the original charge or renewal date. Requests submitted after this period will generally be declined as untimely, though we reserve the right to consider late requests in our sole discretion.
3.2.3 Evaluation Criteria (Examples Only).
CalenSnap will evaluate refund requests case by case at our sole discretion. We may consider factors such as:
Documented technical issues that prevented you from using the Service after reasonable troubleshooting;
Duplicate charges or obvious billing errors;
Unexpected renewal after a cancellation that you can reasonably substantiate; or
Other circumstances where we determine that a partial or full refund or credit is fair and appropriate.
These examples are illustrative only. CalenSnap is under no obligation to approve any particular request, even if a similar request was granted in the past.
3.2.4 Form of Refund or Remedy.
If, after review, we decide to provide a remedy, we may do so in various ways, including but not limited to:
A partial or full refund (for example, by separate payment method);
A credit or extension of your subscription; or
Another goodwill solution that we determine is appropriate.
The form and amount of any remedy are at CalenSnap’s sole discretion.
3.2.5 No Guarantee; No Double Refunds.
No Guarantee. Refunds from CalenSnap are not guaranteed and are always subject to review. Submitting a request does not mean a refund will be issued. We reserve the right to deny any refund request if we determine, in our sole discretion, that: (i) the request is fraudulent or made in bad faith; (ii) you have violated this Fulfillment Policy or our Terms of Service; (iii) you have previously received refunds for the same or similar issues; (iv) you have engaged in a pattern of requesting refunds or excessive subscription cancellations; or (v) granting the refund would be inconsistent with applicable law or our business policies.
No Duplicate Refunds. If you have already received a refund from Apple for a charge, you are not eligible to receive a second or duplicate refund from CalenSnap for the same transaction.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 How to Cancel Your Subscription
Because CalenSnap subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, you must ultimately cancel your subscription through your Apple account. You can access the Apple cancellation flow in several ways:
From Within CalenSnap
Open the Settings page in the app.
Go to My Subscription → Manage Subscription → Cancel subscription.
This will redirect you to your Apple subscription settings, where you can complete the cancellation.
Through Your Device’s Settings or App Store
Open your device’s Settings or the App Store.
Navigate to My Subscription.
Find CalenSnap and select the option to cancel your subscription.
Support Assistance
If you are unsure how to cancel, you may email contact@calensnap.com. We can guide you through the steps, but we cannot cancel the subscription on your behalf in your Apple account.
Support Assistance
Pre-Purchase Disclosure and Consent
Before you complete any subscription purchase through the Apple App Store, you will be presented with a clear disclosure of the material terms of your subscription, which will include: (a) a description of the subscription and the features included; (b) the subscription price and billing frequency (for example, monthly or annually); (c) the fact that your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel; (d) the amount you will be charged upon each automatic renewal; (e) instructions for how to cancel your subscription; and (f) the deadline by which you must cancel to avoid being charged for the next billing period. By completing your purchase through the App Store, you affirmatively consent to the automatic renewal terms presented to you by Apple. CalenSnap does not control Apple's checkout process or the specific format of these disclosures. If you have questions about the subscription terms or disclosures shown during purchase, you may contact Apple Support or contact@calensnap.com before completing your purchase.
Effect of Cancellation
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel your subscription before your renewal date in accordance with Apple's cancellation policies and deadlines. Apple generally requires cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal, but you are responsible for understanding and complying with Apple's specific requirements for your subscription.
When you cancel your subscription:Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period set by Apple.
You will retain access to all paid features until the end of that billing period.
Your subscription will not renew for the next billing period.
5. Historical Data.
Subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law:
Your historical data (such as prior scan history and events created through the app) will generally remain available in your CalenSnap account even after downgrading to the free tier.
We may, from time to time, archive, anonymize, or delete some data if it is no longer needed for the operation of the Service or required by law. Any such practices will be governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Service Availability, Changes, and Misuse
6.1 Service Availability.
We aim to keep CalenSnap available and functioning smoothly, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
6.2 Changes to Features and Plans.
We may, from time to time:
Modify, add, or remove features;
Change subscription plans, pricing, or limits (for example, scan or event caps); or
Discontinue certain features or offerings.
If a change materially reduces the value of a paid subscription you have already purchased, you may have rights or remedies under Apple’s policies or under applicable law, including requesting a refund through Apple.
The specific free tier limits and features may change from time to time.
6.3 Misuse, Abuse, and Non-Payment.
Subject to applicable law and platform rules, we reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or downgrade your access to CalenSnap (including paid features) if we reasonably believe that:
Your account is being used fraudulently or in a way that violates our policies or any applicable law;
You are abusing free trials, promotions, or refund processes; or
Payments for your subscription are not successfully processed, are reversed, or are disputed.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice through the app or by email before, or promptly after, taking such action.
6.4 Dispute Resolution: Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action Waiver.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
You and CalenSnap agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Fulfillment Policy, your subscription, or the Service (collectively, "Disputes") will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except that either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies.
You and CalenSnap agree to waive the right to a trial by jury and to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or any other representative proceeding. All Disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. This means you may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, representative, multiple plaintiff, or similar proceeding.
Arbitration will be conducted by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, and will take place in Sacramento, California. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. You and CalenSnap agree that the arbitrator, and not any federal, state, or local court or agency, shall have exclusive authority to resolve any disputes relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement, including any claim that all or any part of this arbitration agreement is void or voidable.
If any portion of this arbitration provision is found to be unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. If the class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, the entire arbitration provision shall be null and void, and the Dispute must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Sacramento County, California.
7. AI/OCR and Event Accuracy
7.1 AI/OCR Functionality.
CalenSnap uses AI and OCR to analyze images, extract information (such as dates, times, and locations), and help you create structured calendar events.
7.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy.
While we strive to provide useful and accurate results, the AI/OCR output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or ambiguous. For example, the Service may:
Misread or misinterpret a date, time, or location;
Omit certain details from the source image; or
Suggest event details that do not match your intended event.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming all event details (including date, time, location, and any other information) before saving an event to your calendar or relying on it. CalenSnap is not responsible for missed events, scheduling conflicts, losses, or damages resulting from reliance on AI/OCR output.
7.3 Disclaimer of Warranties.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, CALENSNAP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
CALENSNAP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. CALENSNAP MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS OF THE SERVICE OR ANY CONTENT, INCLUDING AI/OCR OUTPUT.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK, AND YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM SUCH USE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In such cases, warranties will be limited to the minimum period required by applicable law.
7.4 Limitation of Liability.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALENSNAP, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, COMPUTER DAMAGE, SYSTEM FAILURE, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS FULFILLMENT POLICY, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF CALENSNAP HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALENSNAP'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS FULFILLMENT POLICY OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CALENSNAP (VIA APPLE) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, CalenSnap's liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Third-Party Services and Calendars
8.1 Third-Party Calendars.
CalenSnap allows you to connect to calendar services such as Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. These services are provided by third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8.2 No Control Over Third-Party Services.
Because we do not control third-party services:
We are not responsible for any unavailability, data loss, or errors caused by these services;
We cannot guarantee successful synchronization or storage of events in your third-party calendar; and
Changes to third-party APIs, terms, or functionality may affect how CalenSnap integrates with those services.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction.
This Fulfillment Policy and any Disputes arising out of or related to it or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If the arbitration provision in Section 6.4 does not apply or is found to be unenforceable, you agree that any judicial proceeding must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California. You hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply to this Fulfillment Policy.
